This was the second in the three-part series showcasing a variety of forms of art by Friends of the Arts in Brighton (FAB). It was also much warmer, which was a huge plus. I did this photo shoot with my good friend Athan Marzen, though the photos listed below were all taken by me. If you would like to see more, please head over to FAB's Facebook page: facebook.com/FAB
To showcase all types of art in the Brighton community as well as in the school district, a local group known as the Friends of the Arts in Brighton (FAB for short) worked with the high school and with the local farmers market to put on a series of art days at the market for the community to enjoy and sometimes also participate. The first in the series was showcasing music. Although it was quite rainy that day, the spirits of the musicians who performed was not dampened in the least. Here are a few of the photos I took for FAB's Facebook page. There was also a cake cutting ceremony to honor the 6th straight year that Brighton Schools has been named by NAMM as one of the best communities for music education.
