To showcase all types of art in the Brighton community as well as in the school district, a local group known as the Friends of the Arts in Brighton (FAB for short) worked with the high school and with the local farmers market to put on a series of art days at the market for the community to enjoy and sometimes also participate. The first in the series was showcasing music. Although it was quite rainy that day, the spirits of the musicians who performed was not dampened in the least. Here are a few of the photos I took for FAB's Facebook page. There was also a cake cutting ceremony to honor the 6th straight year that Brighton Schools has been named by NAMM as one of the best communities for music education. More photos can be found there: facebook.com/FAB
