Working out in the sun all day is a lot easier when the garden is so beautiful. It took years of work, but I'm proud of what I've done.

This year, my family and I went to visit our extended family and just relax before the start of senior year. Over the course of that time, I was able to take quite a few photos to illustrate my experience. Here is a small selection.
Now that the end of my Junior year has passed, I decided to make some more bookmarks for myself, but also as gifts too! I hope you enjoy. :) This last piece can't really be described as a bookmark, simply due to the fact that it is about 6x9", not my usually-sized bookmark. But regardless, I still think it is pretty cool! Here are a few pictures of the progression of what I think is probably my best piece so far.
I had the honor of taking some portraits and group shots for two fantastic a Capella groups at my high school: Macapella and Baronettes. We went to the Highland Diner on South Clinton Ave in Rochester, NY. They were going for a Grease-themed look this year, and boy, did they deliver! Come see them in concert, June 10th, 2016 at Brighton High School. If you would like to download the photos, click the button below to get HD copies. Enjoy the photos! --Ian S. Below are some group photos from both singing groups combined. I played around with some filters and things just to spice them up a bit. Way back in the fall of 2015, my good friend Stefan Korfmacher and I went around Washington Grove park in Brighton, NY to explore the area and check out some of the beautiful graffiti art being done around the water holding tanks. All the pictures below were taken by me.
To kick off homecoming celebrations for the 2015-2016 school year at BHS, A pep rally showcasing each class' efforts ans skills at a variety of events from dance competitions, to short skits and so much more. The night was loud and crazy, but unforgettable as a great start to the new school year.
Last summer my family decided to go to Bar Harbor for a small vacation and business trip all wrapped into one. We had a wonderful time, and I got to experiment taking a variety of cool shots while I was there. Enjoy!
Every year, the vocal groups at our school put on a variety of free, and paid performances throughout the year. After filming Pitch Black as part of my student videographer job for BCSD, I enjoyed it so much decided to come back for the second performance the following evening to take photos. Here are a few of the photos that I shot with Athan Marzen. For more photos, visit the Friends of the Arts in Brighton's Facebook page: facebook.com/FAB
For the final day of Arts at the Market, Visual Arts done by both students from Brighton High School and local artists from around the community were displayed. All kinds of art were showcased, from charcoal drawing, to knitting, to watercolors, and so much more! But by far the best part of this final edition of Arts at the Market was the ability for shoppers directly from the farmers market to participate in several large-scale projects happening over the course of the day; including opportunities for people to contribute to a giant sidewalk chalk exhibit or better yet, add their own piece of artwork to a high school art teacher's car! (courtesy of Mrs. Katie Maley) Once again, I did this photo shoot with my good friend Athan Marzen, though the photos listed below were all taken by me.
