Now that the end of my Junior year has passed, I decided to make some more bookmarks for myself, but also as gifts too! I hope you enjoy. :) This last piece can't really be described as a bookmark, simply due to the fact that it is about 6x9", not my usually-sized bookmark. But regardless, I still think it is pretty cool! Here are a few pictures of the progression of what I think is probably my best piece so far.
My hobby has been growing it seems. This time though, I decided to make a time-lapse of my creating a bookmark to create a new opening video for my school's Morning Show. In the process, I ended up making two separate videos (one longer and one shorter) to fit the time limits on the Morning Show. But I also wanted to have a cool video that goes through the entire process. There are some slight differences between the two videos, but both have the entire time-lapse. Enjoy! Final product in all of its glory:
Ah, another break a few more bookmarks to make!
This time I tried experimenting with more stained glass patterns. I also tried to control my use of warm vs. cool colors and using bigger shapes with more intricate connections between the shapes. It worked better for some than for others, but they all turned out great in their own way. I had to do a little bit of photoshopping to make the colors stand out the way they do in real life, since my scanner was picking up some of the colors incorrectly; especially the highlighter yellow. I don't know how many I will make over the course of this break, but here's what I have so far! Enjoy! :) |
What is this...blog?Here, you'll find everything from videos I've made, to photos I've taken, to random art, to just completely random stuff related to me and much, much more! Have fun! Also, this will be updated sporadically, so be patient or bug me to make new stuff. Either way. ;-) Archives
